David J. Kim
David Kim is a seasoned Engineer and Entrepreneur, who began his career as a technology investment banker and strategy consultant. Over the last eighteen years, he has either founded or been a founding management team member of fast growing technology start-ups in the web search, digital content management and online advertising sectors. In 2011, David’s focus turned to education to align with his social views of the importance of education to our society. David is responsible for driving the Company's vision, product strategy, partnerships and day-to-day operations. David received his BS Engineering degree from UC Berkeley and his MS Management & Engineering degree from Stanford University.
Dr. Jinho Lee
Jinho leads all of Intellus' content crawling, indexing and search technology development at Intellus. Before joining Intellus, Jinho was the Engineering Lead at Become, where he led over 20 engineering and research teams in building a product search and research platform with billions of web pages indexed and tens of millions of users per month. Jinho received his BS Information Science degree from Ajou University and his MS and PhD in Computer Science (Information Retrieval and Data Structure) from Illinois Institute of Technology.
Kevin leads platform architecture and developmental efforts at Intellus Learning. Before joining Intellus, Kevin held senior software and development engineering roles at Amazon Web Services, Oracle and Efficient Frontier. Kevin received his BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and his MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Dr. Z. John Mason
John brings a deep understanding of the digital world and a keen researcher’s eye to his role heading up our R&D team. Before joining Intellus, John held various Research and Principal Scientist roles at Amazon, Efficient Frontier, and Course Hero. John received his BS Math degree from Claremont Colleges and his PhD in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence with expertise in Semantics and Linguistics at University of Washington.
Scott is one of the lead software architects and developers of the Intellus Learning platform with specific focus on analytics and optimization. Before joining Intellus, Scott was the lead technologist at Tumri, a realtime ad-selection engine and creative-optimization serving platform. At Tumri, Scott developed enterprise class applications which scaled to hundreds of millions of requests per day and developed analytical frameworks against large scale user engagement data across hundreds of data dimensions towards continuous and real-time improvement of dynamic user experiences. Scott received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
David H. Webster
Webster brings years of scalability leadership, implementation and operationalization experience to software-as-a-service (SAAS) platforms and internet delivered solutions. At Intellus Learning, he wears many hats including support for product definition, engineering execution and technical operations. David has spent time in engineering executive leadership, architecture and operations management roles at Tumri (acquired by Collective), Yahoo!, Redback Networks (acquired by Ericsson) and Cygnus (acquired by RedHat). David received his BA in Mathematics & Computer Science from Lewis & Clark College in Portland.
Megan helps ensure success of our educational partners and clients as one of the Account Managers at Intellus Learning. Prior to joining Intellus, Megan served the education industry as a Higher Education Technology Consultant at Hobsons, and Strategic Customer Operations Consultant at Pearson Higher Education. Megan’s prior experience assisting intuitions to optimize their online learning programs towards improving learning outcomes, supporting student services, and retaining students through completion, uniquely positions Megan as an Account Manager at Intellus. Megan has her Masters in Education from Capella University and focused her capstone on competency-based education.
Paul leads and manages all sales and partnership activities at Intellus Learning. He has experience in sales, marketing & product, successfully managing not only multiple sales channels within the educational industry, but also managing editorial & software development teams as well. Prior to Intellus, Paul has had a long, successful history in executive roles for sales, marketing & product at larger educational companies like Macmillan, McGraw-Hill, Pearson and Cengage, as well as smaller companies like Cold Spring Harbor & iClicker. Paul received his BA Communications from Marquette University and has completed MBA coursework from Seton Hall University.
Margaret leads our sales and partnership activities in the West region. Margaret brings 20+ years of successfully launching product and software into the Higher Education market. Prior to Intellus, she led the North American sales team at Sapling Learning and the western STEM sales teams at major educational companies. Over her career, Margaret has focused on helping both faculty and administrators effectively establish technology-driven programs that have enabled higher student retention and increased transparency of student engagement. Margaret received her BA from University of Texas at Austin and her MA from University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom.
Lauren leads our sales and partnership activities in the Southeast region. Prior to Intellus, she served various senior roles across digital learning, educational consulting and technology sales at major educational companies. Lauren is especially passionate about helping clients drive student affordability measures through institutional and faculty empowerment. Lauren received her BS in Marketing from Florida State University and her MBA from University of Tampa with a specific focus on technology consulting.
Breanna leads our inside sales activities on a nationwide basis. Prior to Intellus, she has held a number of sales representative and support positions at Macmillan Learning. Breanna received her BA in Communication and Information from Rutgers University
Laura von Rosenberg
Laura leads our sales and partnership activities in the Midwest region. Prior to Intellus, Laura has served the Higher Education industry as a Training Specialist and Technology Solutions Specialist for Sapling Learning as well as spending six years as an Enrollment Operations Supervisor at ESM, a Xerox Company, where she partnered with Arizona State University and Tiffin University to drive enrollment and retention in their online programs. Laura received her Bachelors in Public Relations from Colorado State University and her Masters in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling from Denver Seminary.
